Eco-T (Trichoderma Powder)

R140 - R1 900
INFORMATION

Description

Eco-T® is a highly effective biological fungal inoculant used for the suppression of common plant root diseases and the enhancement of crop growth across a wide variety of species.

Containing active spores of the beneficial fungus Trichoderma asperellum, Eco-T® establishes a natural, symbiotic relationship with plant root systems. This fast-growing and aggressive colonizer outcompetes plant pathogens for space and nutrients, ensuring your crops are protected from the roots up.

Mode of Action -

T. asperellum quickly colonizes the root zone. It works by actively coiling around pathogenic mycelia, constricting them, and secreting specialized enzymes that break down and destroy the cell walls of the target pathogens.

Eco-T® Simultaneously increases root growth by making auxins more available, resulting in a denser, more extensive root system capable of maximizing nutrient uptake.

Use of beneficial organisms -

Introducing highly beneficial fungi to the biological vacuum to get your plants strongly rooted.

Environmental compatibility data:

Eco-T® is non-toxic, non-GMO, and carries no withholding period (MRL limit), making it completely safe for organic growing programs and the surrounding ecosystem. By stimulating Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) within the plant, it naturally enhances tolerance to both abiotic stresses (like drought) and biotic stresses.

Benefits

  • Fungal Disease Control: Effectively targets and addresses damping-off diseases caused by pathogens such as Fusarium spp., Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia spp., and Phytophthora spp.

  • Enhanced Root Architecture: Promotes a denser, well-developed, and more extensive root system due to increased auxin availability.

  • Improved Nutrient Efficiency: Boosts nutrient mobilization through the biological mineralization of nutrients, ensuring maximum absorption and a better return on fertilizer investment.

  • Stress Tolerance: Triggers Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) to raise the plant's overall tolerance to environmental and disease-related stresses.

How to use

Dosage:

    • Soil Application (Soil Drench / In-Furrow / Irrigation): Mix 1 g of Eco-T® per 4 L of water, or apply at a rate between 250 g to 500 g per hectare depending on the crop.

    • Seed Treatment (Eco-T®): Apply dry to seeds at a rate of 1 g per kg of seed (or a minimum of 25 g per hectare for row crops)
