Snackabelle Red Pepper

INFORMATION

Description

Capsicum Snackabelle Red (Capsicum annuum) is a compact, sweet mini bell pepper variety celebrated for its crisp texture, vibrant red colour, and deliciously mild flavour. Each fruit is thick-walled, blocky, and typically measures 5–7 cm in length, making it the perfect size for snacking, stuffing, or using in colourful salads.

This variety is early maturing, producing fruit within 60-80 days from transplanting, and is particularly suited to container gardening, raised beds, or smaller garden spaces. With its bushy, upright growth habit (reaching up to 30-60 cm tall), Snackabelle performs well in sunny South African conditions, especially in spring through early autumn. It prefers warm temperatures between 20–30°C and thrives in well-drained, fertile soils.

Due to its ornamental appeal, high yield, and disease tolerance, Snackabelle is a favourite among urban gardeners, balcony growers, and anyone seeking a productive, low-maintenance pepper with excellent flavour and versatility.
